[VPI] Virtual Piano – The Chord and Scale Library

is a software tool designed to help you learn chords and scales faster and more intuitively. Its strength lies in a comprehensive library that allows you to quickly find, hear, and visually understand chords and scales.

"Why we created this software? Both beginners and professionals constantly deal with chords and scales. Many have bought chord books or downloaded documents from the internet - while helpful, this process is often tedious, time-consuming and not ideal. With [VPI], this ends now: No more endless searching or trial and error! Just click on any chord - and instantly see how to play it and hear how it sounds."

Currently Available Modes:

Learn Chords

Access a large collection of chords that you can select and play immediately. For example, choose a major chord, select your desired root note using the chord roll, and the chord will be both played and visualized – a powerful aid for understanding harmony.

Explore Scales

Works similarly to the chord mode but focuses on scales. You can try out different scales, rearrange them using a popup window, and search with ease.

Create Lessons

Lessons in four modes: Lesson, Customize, Random, Evaluation. Depending on the mode, you can enable specific settings, such as: Number of chords, Notes, Octaves, Direction, Inversions, and much more

Additional Info:

Highlight: The chord roll displays small LEDs above the keyboard to show which scales the chord belongs to. Handy, right?

  • What Virtual Piano [VPI] is not:
